The Great Get Together

ACROSS BRITAIN 16-18 JUNE, 2017

A celebrity film shot by the celebrities themselves on their mobile phones

Tongue-in-cheek political film by Swede Mason

A poignant film on defying terrorism

ISSUE

National campaign to mark the first anniversary of the murder of Jo Cox, Labour MP

OBJECTIVE

In her maiden speech on becoming an MP, Jo Cox famously said;we are far more united and have more in common than that which divides us.

SOLUTION

Using red gingham as our campaign connector, we united people across the country as they came together in their hundreds and thousands to remember Jo on the anniversary of her murder. The Great Get Together was a resounding success and in the face of two terror attacks just months prior in London and Manchester, it proved a timely and unifying event to remember and celebrate all we have in common.

We created and produced three very distinct films in the lead up to the Great Get Together, including; a poignant film on defying terrorism; a celebrity film shot by the celebrities themselves on their mobile phones and a tongue-in-cheek political film by Swede Mason.
